Nomeações 2016

A maior surpresa nas nomeações dos Golden Globes é Mad Max:Fury Road! Um dos melhores filmes filmes do ano chegou à nomeações para minha grande surpresa, uma vez que este tipo de filmes não chega a este tipo de prémios mais elitista. George Miller também tem uma nomeação para Melhor Realizador pelo filme. Mas parece que a grande luta vai ser entre Carol e The Revenant, fazendo de Cate Blanchett e de Leonardo Dicaprio os grande vencedores da noite, quase de certeza. Nomearam o The Martian na categoria de Comédia? O filme tem um tom mais ligeiro, mas mesmo assim...e o Matt Damon também recebeu uma nomeação como Melhor Actor de Comédia ou Musical. É com grande tristeza minha que não vejo o filme Ex-Machina nomeado como Melhor Filme, ficando apenas com uma nomeação para Alicia Vikandar como Actriz Secundária. Aliás, a actriz recebeu duas nomeações, incluindo a de Melhor Actriz Dramática por The Danish Girl, a menina sueca será a grande sensação dos Golden Globes. As más línguas já dizem que a Jennifer Lawrence só foi nomeada para apimentar a cerimónia e, embora a menina seja talentosa, parece que as críticas ao seu novo filme não estão a ser muito boas, mas actriz recebeu uma nomeação como Melhor Actriz de Comédia ou Musical pelo filme Joy.

Houve uma revolução nas nomeações para televisão! Das séries nomeadas o ano passado, apenas Game of Thrones repete a nomeação na categoria de Melhor Série Dramática, todas as outras são nomeadas pela primeira vez. Empire, uma das séries mais vistas nos Estados Unidos; Mr. Robot, que conquistou a crítica; Narcos, a nova série do Netflix sobre o tráfico de droga; e Outlander, que para minha grande surpresa chegou aos nomeados, a série tem uma fotogradia lindíssima, um genérico fabuloso e uma história cativante, com desempenhos muito bons. Creio que Game of Thrones vai ganhar o Globo, mas mais uma vez, tal como aconteceu nos Emmys, levará o prémio pela pior temporada até à data.

Parece que nos Estados Unidos não sabem mesmo em que categoria colocar algumas séries, Transparent vai saltando de categoria conforme os prémios, deste vez foi nomeada como Melhor Série de Comédia ou Musical, juntamente com Orange is the New Black, Silicon Valley, que já tinham sido nomeadas no ano anterior e as estreantes Veep, Casual e Mozart in the Jungle, estas duas últimas quase ningém tinha ouvido falar delas até serem nomeadas. Parece-me que aqui a luta vai ser entre Transparent e Veep, esta última levou o Emmy nesta categoria, embora nos Emmys a série Transparent estivesse nomeada noutra categoria onde também venceu o prémio.

Na categoria de Melhor Série Limitada ou Filme para Televisão apenas Fargo repete a nomeação, American Crime, Wolf Hall, Flesh and Bone e American Horror Story: Hotel são todas novas, embora American Horror Story já tenha sido nomeada nesta categoria anteriomente. A maior surpresa é Flesh and Bone, uma mini-série do canal Starz sobre os bastidores do ballet, que tem tido críticas razoáveis, mas que me parece bastante interessante e tem um desempenho fabuloso da protagonista. Embora seja uma grande fã da série de horror, este ano estou a torcer por Flesh and Bone, contudo creio que Fargo será a vencedora.

Entre as nomeadas como Melhor Actriz Dramática só espero que a Eva Green leve o Globo este ano por Penny Dreadful, quanto mais não seja para compensar o facto de o ano passado nem ter sido nomeada! Mas as candidatas mais fortes são a Viola Davis por How To Get Away With Murder e a Taraji P. Henson por Empire. Quando à categoria masculina, é quase certo que John Hamm levará o Glogo pelo seu desempenho na última temporada de Mad Men.

Mais uma vez as más línguas dizem que Lady Gaga foi nomeada por American Horror Story: Hotel apenas para aparecer na passadeira vermelha e na cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro, mas na categoria de Melhor Actriz em Série Limitada ou Filme para Televisão, a luta será entre Felicity Hoffman por American Crime ou a recém-chegada Sarah Hay por Flesh and Bone. Já categoria masculina a luta será mais renhida, mas Idris Elba leva a vantagem por Luther.

A 73ª. Edição dos Golden Globe Awards será transmitida a 10 de Janeiro de 2016 no canal NBC (em Portugal deve ser transmitida naquele canal exclusivo da NOS onde pseudo-comentadores fazem pseudo-comentários), com apresentação de Ricky Gervais, que deve ter umas quantas piadas constrangedoras no bolso para minha felicidade e mais uma vez os americanos vão ficar com cada de WTF cada vez que ele mandar uns bitaites!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Cinema Fantástico

O novo trailer de Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice mostra um pouco mais do arrufo entre o Batman e o Superman. Parece que em 2016 vamos ter dois grandes combates entre as personagens mais icónicas da banda desenhada, primeiro este da DC entre o Batman e o Superman, e depois o da Marvel entre o Captain America e o Iron Man.

 

Primeiro que tudo, eu adoro o Batman, acho que é uma personagem fabulosa, que sem ter qualquer super-poder, consegue vencer os mais diversos vilões (e a lista é bem grande, variada e temível - para além de serem alguns dos melhores dos comics), mas entretanto escolheram um actor para o novo filme do franchise, Ben Canastrão Affleck, e estragaram uma das minhas personagens preferidas. Ele não parece estar mal no trailer, mas ainda fico com uma lágrima no canto do olho cada vez que o vejo a encarnar a personagem.

 

Segundo, o Lex Luther vai sar um pouco diferente do que a maior parte dos fãs está habituado? Estou a perguntar, porque nos outros filmes lembro-me de o Lex Luther ser louco, mas mais contido e calculista. Para além disso, vai entrar em modo Frankenstein e criar um monstro para combater dos super-heróis (no trailer é mesmo um momento "they have a cave throll!").  Parece que aquele bicho não vai ser fácil de vencer.

Vamos ter um Superman bastante chateado (vá lá, o momento em que ele diz ao Batman que se quisesse já lhe tinha dado cabo no canastro é espectacular), sim, é aquele momento em que estou do lado do Superman para dar uma coça ao Batman! As cenas de luta parecem ser bastante boas e algumas das imagens, principalmente do Batman, fazem-me lembrar muito de algumas imagens que vi do jogo. Neste trailer deixaram de parte a cena em que o Superman detrói o batmobil, mas essa parte está altamente. Há uma cena do Batman prisioneiro do Superman?

Deixaram o melhor do trailer mesmo para o fim com a Wonder Woman a salvar os dois meninos mal comportados que não paravam de lutar e a salvar o dia. Boys will be boys and the girl will save the day! Aquele momento em que ela salva o Batman e depois se coloca à frente deles pronta para combater é mesmo badass. Pelo meio fica aquele bom momento em que o Superman pergunta ao Batman "Is she with you?" e o Batman lhe responde "I thought she was with you". Por fim, é mais um trailer que revela demasiado, o primeiro trailer funcionava muito bem, porque ficavam muitas perguntas sobre o que ia acontecer e agora revelaram tantas imagens, sobretudo da luta. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice estreia a 25 de Março de 2016.

Nomeações 2016

Os Satellite Awards homenageiam os melhores desempenhos, filmes e séries do ano anterior e são atribuídos pela International Press Academy. O filme mais nomeado este ano é o The Martin e o Humanitarian Award será entregue ao realizador Spike Lee. Destaque para o prémio de Melhor Elenco que já foi atribuído ao filme Spotlight e à série American Crime (ABC). A 20ª carimónia dos Satellite Awards terá lugar a 21 de Fevereiro de 2016.
