Creio que ouvi esta música pela primeira vez há bastante tempo, mas só mais tarde é que me lembrei de voltar a procurá-la porque tinha a ideia de ser cantada pela LeAnn Rimes. "The Rose" é uma música linda, mas muito triste, que faz parte do álbum You Light Up My Fire de 1997, e por vezes gosto de voltar a ouvir para espicaçar a minha imaginação.

Séries - Estreias e Regressos

Muitos regressos e algumas estreias neste mês por cá. Depois do regresso de várias séries nos E.U.A., chegou a vez de várias séries voltarem também a Portugal como é o caso de The Walking Dead (apenas um dia depois da estreia no AMC), de Forever, de Castle e de Grey's Anatomy. Destaque para a estreia de Empire na FOX, série que está a ter bastante sucesso nas audiências nos E.U.A.; para a estreia de Allegiance no TV Séries; para The Strain na FOX, para a primeira temporada de Chicago Fire no AXN (que já vai na terceira nos E.U.A.); e para a terceira temporada House of Cards no TV Séries, um dos regresso mais esperados (apenas um dia depois da sua estreia no Netflix).

Lá por fora destaque pata o regresso da segunda temporada de The Blacklist do canal NBC, que aposta na estreia de Allegiance e ainda em The Slap. O canal AMC estreia de Better Call Soul, o spin-off de Breaking Bad. A BBC1 estreia The Casual Vacancy, baseada no romance com o mesmo título de J. K. Rowling. A série The Mentalist do CBS chega ao fim ainda este mês e o canal História estreia a terceira temporada de Vikings.

Yet if you look east, at sunset, you can see night rising, not falling; darkness lifting into the sky, up from the horizon, like a black sun behind cloud cover. Like smoke from an unseen fire, a line of fire just below the horizon, brushfire or a burning city. Maybe night falls because it’s heavy, a thick curtain pulled up over the eyes. Wool blanket.
