"Feeling Good" foi escrita por Anthony Newly e Leslie Bricusse para o musical de 1965, The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd, cuja versão foi originalmente cantada por Cy Grant. Esta versão da Nina Simone já é uma cover. Posteriormente, os Muse também fizeram uma cover, assim como Michael Bublé (curiosamente, cantores e versões que também gosto muito).
