Nomeações 2015
A Academy of Television Arts and Sciences anunciou os nomeados aos Emmys, que premeiam o que de melhor se fez na televisão americana entre 1 de Junho de 2014 e 31 de Maio de 2015. Entre as categorias de principais de séries, de representação, de realização e de argumento, a variedade é muita, mas mais umas vez muitos ficaram esquecidos e alguns habituais desapareceram quase completamente das nomeações, como foi o caso de The Big Bang Theory e The Good Wife.
O grande destaque vai para as 24 nomeações da série Game of Thrones. A série que se tornou um fenómeno na televisão e na Internet, conseguiu imensas nomeações embora não tenha conseguido nomeações nas principais categorias de drama. A série de fantasia, que teve a temporada mais criticada desde o início devido às opções de adaptação, teve vários momentos que desagradaram aos fãs dos livros, e se, por um lado continua fabulosa em termos de cenários e de interpretações, por outro, já as opções da narrativa e de junção das histórias das várias personagens tornaram-se descabidas na última temporada, deixando apenas dois episódios que valeram a pena ver em toda a temporada. De notar que The Walking Dead também é um fenómeno de popularidade tanto na televisão como na Internet e mesmo assim não consegue nomeações nas principais categorias dos Emmys, parece que a malta não é muito fã de zombies.
Finalmente, lembraram-me de nomear a Tatiana Maslany que bem merece a sua nomeação, mas continuam a nomear a Claire Danes. Vá lá, ela á fabulosa, mas a série já devia ter sido cancelada e já nomeavam outras actrizes como é o caso da Eva Green que não só merece a nomeação, como devia levar o Emmy. O mesmo acontece com a série em que ela entra, Penny Dreadful, que mais uma vez foi esquecida das nomeações, shame on you, Emmys! E nada para o Daredevil? Ah, adaptações de comics também não devem fazer parte das vossas listas de nomeações! Aposto que para o ano também não dão nada a Sense8 só por ser dos Wachowskis!
De notar a supremacia das nomeações para a HBO e para os canais por cabo que continuam a ter mais nomeações em relação aos canais generalistas que apostam em temporadas maiores e com episódios mais pequenos (em alguns casos), em relação aos canais por cabo que apostam em séries mais pequenas e concentradas, por vezes com episódios maiores e mais bem trabalhados. O canal CBS, que é lider de audiências em termos de séries, teve poucas nomeações este ano com a saída de The Big Bang Theory e The Good Wife, que desapareceram quanse completamente das listas dos principais nomeados.
A nível de drama, creio que a grande luta vai ser entre Mad Man (que terminou) e House of Cards. Na comédia, penso que Transparent vai levar, pelo menos, dois dos prémios principais. Nas categorias de série limitada e filmes para televisão, American Horror Story: Freak Show leva a vantagem a nível de interpretações.
A 67ª Cerimónia Anual dos Prémios Emmy terá lugar no Domingo, a 20 de Setembro de 2015 no Microsoft Theater, Downtown Los Angeles, na Califórnia, com transmissão na FOX. A apresentação estará a cargo de Andy Samberg. Abaixo, ficam as principais nomeações.
