ResponderEliminarEste Frankenstein da Shelley foi o segundo livro que eu li (o primeiro foi o Drácula do Stoker) e deixou-me com uma profunda aversão ao ser humano, (mais ainda do que o normal quando se tem 15 anos no final dos anos 80). Como diz o texto as questões que levanta são hoje em dia ainda mais pertinentes e é uma leitura fundamental, que vai muito além do "simples" clássico do terror.
Tenho planeado fazer um comentário alargado a este livro, que é um dos meus preferidos. O que me fascinou mais na altura que o li, foi a forma como Mary Shelley "criou/imaginou" esta obra que foi considerada uma das primeiras obras de ficção científica, mas que, acima de tudo, marca o horror de uma criatura monstruosa que se transforma, o desejo de grandeza do homem e as consequências e a forma como marcou uma posição na história da literatura.
